Non-slip throw for leather sofa
From $30.00
Sofa throw blanket
A sofa throw does one of three jobs depending on the household: decorate, protect or keep you warm. Over 25 models, from a non-slip throw for leather to a corner format at 93" x 118" (235 x 300 cm). Measure your sofa from armrest to armrest before choosing: that width decides, not the number of seats the manufacturer lists.

What exactly are you looking for?
"Sofa throw" covers four very different needs. Tell us which one is yours, because the right selection is not the same.
| Your problem | What you need |
|---|---|
| My throw keeps sliding off the leather | A non-slip throw with a silicone backing. It is our best seller. |
| I want to protect against spills and stains | A waterproof throw with a water-repellent coating |
| I have a corner sofa | A wide format, up to 93" x 118" (235 x 300 cm) to cover the return |
| I have a three-seater and want it fully covered | A large throw, from 71" x 79" (180 x 200 cm) |
| My dog or cat gets on the sofa | A pet throw, washable and hair-resistant |
| I mainly want a beautiful material | A luxury throw, chosen on weight and finish |
Which size for your sofa?
Measure from armrest to armrest, outer edge included. That measurement decides, not the number of seats the manufacturer claims: two sofas both sold as three-seaters can be 16 inches apart.
- 47" x 79" (120 x 200 cm): the seat of a two-seater
- 59" x 79" (150 x 200 cm): seat and armrests of a two to three-seater, our best-selling size
- 71" x 79" (180 x 200 cm): the whole three-seater, backrest included
- 79" x 91" (200 x 230 cm) and above: a large three-seater or a corner sofa, with drape
Decorating and protecting are not the same material
A decorative throw is chosen by eye, a protective one is chosen by how it washes. If yours has to go through the machine every fortnight because of a pet or children, chunky knit and long-pile faux fur are poor choices however beautiful they look. Take fleece or microfiber, and save the fine material for a sofa that takes no punishment.
Common questions
How do you stop a throw sliding off? On leather or faux leather, only a non-slip backing works for any length of time. Tucking it under the cushions lasts one evening, no more.
Throw or sofa cover? A cover hugs the sofa and hides it. A throw is laid on, moved and washed far more easily. If your sofa is damaged, buy a cover. If it is in good condition, a throw is enough and you can change it with the seasons.
Which size sells most? 59" x 79" (150 x 200 cm), by a clear margin. It suits most straight sofas.
