A high-end throw stands out for its material, weight and edge finishing, rather than its price tag. Our sizes range from 70 × 100 to 160 × 200 cm, in long-pile faux fur, thick fleece and chunky knit.

What makes a throw genuinely high end?

Three things, in this order: the material, the weight per square metre, and the finish of the edges. Price on its own tells you nothing. A lightweight synthetic throw at a high price will age worse than a dense, properly overlocked one at half the cost.

High end or large, which matters more?

These are two independent criteria, and size almost always wins. A beautiful throw at 50" x 60" (127 x 152 cm) will not cover a three-seater sofa, and you will stop reaching for it within a month. Measure your sofa from armrest to armrest first, then choose the material. If size is your priority, start with our large throw blankets.

Common questions

Does an expensive throw really last longer? Not automatically. What lasts is a dense material and well finished edges. A high-end throw washed too hot or put through a tumble dryer will fail faster than an ordinary fleece treated properly.

Does faux fur count as high end? It depends entirely on pile length and density. Sparse faux fur reads as synthetic up close, whatever it costs.

Can it go in the machine? Fleece and microfiber, yes, at 86°F. Chunky knit and long pile should be hand washed or dry cleaned, and each product page says which.
