How to wash a new blanket?

You just bought a new blanket and want to wash it before the first use, you've come to the right place. Washing a new wool or fabric blanket may seem complicated, but with the right steps, you can do it safely and easily.

Step 1: Check the colors of the new blanket

Before washing the new blanket, check whether the colors fade or not.

If you are unsure, you can perform a color test by gently rubbing a hidden corner of the blanket with a white cloth dampened with soapy water. If the colors bleed, wash the blanket separately.
